The official floodplain maps adopted by Richland County are housed in the Richland County Zoning Office, Richland County Courthouse, Room 309, 181 W. Seminary St., Richland Center, WI 53581Zoning Division of the Planning and Development Department.

Although significant care has been exercised to produce maps that satisfy mapping accuracy standards, these maps are only as accurate as the source data from which they were compiled. These maps are intended to be advisory and are NOT designed or intended to be used as a substitute for an accurate field survey, as performed by a Registered Land Surveyor, to determine precise property location.

Wisconsin Statutes, provides in part that "it is not an invasion of privacy to communicate any information available to the public as a matter of public record."  All of the information available on this web site is a matter of public record.  The data available on this web site is also available by visiting various departments at the Richland County Courthouse.
